What causes my fear of failure, and how do I get over dejection caused by rejection?

Fear of failure or fear of rejection, like any other fear, is predominantly mental or spiritual.
But it may be mental based on your past experiences. You may have failed in the past. You may have been rejected a lot in the past. You may have been in a tough family or personal situation and lost some of the feeling of faith in yourself or self-worth that you once had. You may be "expecting" to lose.

Substitute your negative sense for your positive sense.
Here are the negative senses and the positive substitutes:

NEGATIVES:
1. The sense of fear.
2. The sense of nervousness.
3. The sense of rejection.
4 The sense of procrastination or reluctance.
5. The sense of justification/rationale.
6. The sense of self-doubt.
7. The sense of uncertainty.
8. The sense of doom.
8.5. The sense of "I'm not blessed."

POSITIVES:
1. The sense of confidence.
2. The sense of positive anticipation.
3. The sense of determination.
4. The sense of achievement.
5. The sense of winning.
6. The sense of success.
7. The sense of "I'm certain."
8. The sense of " Sunny Days."
8.5 The sense of being blessed by God

In any given situation, where the chance is win or lose, succeed or not succeed, be accepted or be rejected, you must always be able to recall every past blessing that God has placed in your life and dwell on it and Him. Dwell on the fact that you can be a winner- because God has made you in His image and He totally 100% loves you!

I am trying to apply these things to my life to help me!
Have a great day!

Awesome!

I have to admit to being a natually introverted and down-on-myself person. I read stuff like this all the time to remind me of who I am in HIM.

Just that, seeing what you wrote, it was an unexpected blessing.

This blog and your other sites are great.

When it rains, it pours...i'm 'drowning' in a lot of failures & difficulties right now. And I think it's just meant to be that i read this post now. God won't give us challenges that we can't handle & i think this is his way of saying "things will get better, don't worry u'll get by & i'm with you"....have a great day Josh! Thank you!
